Hands in Hands
PORTUGUESE OUTLOOK
Last week, on the 10th and the 11th of November, the first transnational meeting of the Erasmus + project, Hands in Hands, took place at the "Lucian Blaga" school in Satu Mare, Romania. The project coordinator and the Director of the Romanian school welcomed the participating teachers from Portugal, Turkey, Germany, Poland and Croatia.
The participants had the opportunity to visit the school, present their countries, their regions and their schools. They also analyzed the general layout of the project, the contracts with their national agencies and planned the activities to be carried out, namely student exchanges, the Twinspace features the opportunity to discuss the means of disseminating the initiatives resulting from the project.
The HIH project, in which students from the ages of 13 to 15 participate, with the aim of developing social skills and gaining transnational alliances by means of using the English and non-verbal languages to communicate. The activities that encompass this project pertain to combined learning, by using traditional games and dances, street games, and acting out plays, seeking to involve students with special educational needs as well.
The next transnational short-term teaching and learning activity will take place in our country from the 6th to the 10th of March 2017. During this exchange, the partners from Turkey, Germany, Poland, Croatia and Romania will participate in educational activities with our students and teachers.
